Songwriting Summit

Artists and Songwriters, do you need time to capture the songs that God is putting on your heart?  “Time for your Song” is the theme of this year’s Songwriting Summit at Northwoods Retreat. You’ll enjoy uninterrupted writing time in addition to encouraging and creative workshops to sharpen and focus your writing skills--all in a beautiful northwoods setting.  Come alone or bring a team because... it's Time for Your Song!

Retreat Speaker: Tyler Duke

Tyler Duke has been crafting melodies and lyrics for nearly 30 years, establishing himself as not only a songwriter, but also a passionate leader in musical worship. As the driving force behind Awaken, the worship band at Christ Community Church in Schofield, WI, Tyler and his team are thrilled to release their debut album of original songs later this year. Residing in Ringle, WI with his supportive wife, Jessica, and their eight wonderful children, Tyler finds inspiration in the scriptures, in his family and church community. He is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to the 2025 Songwriting Summit at Northwoods Retreat.

3:00 pm - Check-in at the Lodge, settle into cabins, (hike, write, visit)

9:00 pm - Worship Jam
